I went to the Heathman Hotel yesterday evening to hear Anthony Bourdain read from his new book Nasty Bits. He read for about 15 minutes and then spent the rest of the time answering questions. He was in town filming for his show No Reservations. Local author Chuck Palahniuk acted as tour guide and took him about town to Voodoo Doughnut and The Velveteria. The crowd was huge and Bourdain was as charming and entertaining as he is on television.
