What's Cooking?

I finished painting the kitchen this weekend. The walls are now gentle white, or as Laura Ashley calls it, Thalia. It looks much brighter and cleaner now. I primed on Friday night, painted the first coat Saturday, and finished the second coat yesterday afternoon. I hope to move the appliances back into place this evening and free up some dining room space. The floor in the kitchen looks fabulous too. The black and white tiles look pretty sharp. The cabinet doors are the next step. Most of them need a good sanding. I don't know about the inside of the cabinets though. Thery're hot pink now and some of them are flaking badly. I guess I could do it gradually. I should do it now while they're empty!

Yes, better do it now while the momentum is there! It becomes very easy (but not particularly fun) to live in a state of things partially done.

pain in the butt but i vote for doing it now as once those dishes are on the shelves nothing on heaven or earth going to cause me to take them all out again!! :)
