Simplicity 2593 Tank

This is the first completed project using the Cynthia Rowley patterns that I bought. I had wanted to make the shift dress first, but the tank was a quicker project. I sewed this over the course of a couple of days because I started on Saturday night. It only takes a couple of hours to make. I used some Moda fabric I had in my stash that I completely forgot about. I think the polka dots are perfect!

Melissa,
I have followed your blog for a very long time, and am constantly inspired by your projects. Was wondering what percentage of your wardrobe is handmade vs regular retail? At one point, I toyed with the idea of having all the sweaters worn by me, made by me. Ha!

Super cute! I like that dotty fabric too. Now we need warm weather...

I've got my eye on those Cynthia Rowley patterns at Joann. They've got a pattern sale starting 5/7 and Simplicity and Vogues are onsale. Yay!

Amy, I saw your tank and was inspired to sew one up for myself since it was so quick.

Chibisan, I have been thinking about that question: How much of my wardrobe is handmade? I'd say it's almost half, maybe a little less.

Silvia, definitely grab those CR patterns if they go on sale. Easy and cute!
